‘Castle Ruin’ Doddington Hall’

An oil on canvas painting of a castle ruin with sheep grazing in the foreground on the Doddington Hall estate

You can see the hall which sits behind a lake as you pass a private drive along side the road which takes you up to the estate and the hall.

As you travel along the road passed the main entrance to the estate you can just make out the top of the castle across some fields and never realized at the time that it was a castle or even part of the estate, let alone the historical significance of the place.
