This painting was inspired whilst out walking in North Wales and depicts a stretch of the River Lledr (The Afon Lledr pronounced in Welsh) and is situated in the north-west in the Conwy valley.
As the title of the painting suggests, it came onto rain during a lovely sunny day and for a brief moment turned the banks of the river and foliage of the trees into deep rich greens and the background hills took on a misty bluish grey and all cleared away as quick as it came.
