A realistic oil still life painting of some apples and some gooseberries.
There are over 1200 varieties of British apples, many of which have been crossed with one of my favourites a cox’s.
In this painting I’m not sure which variety this one is from, for I inherited the tree they were picked from along with the house sometime ago, all I know is that it’s a great eater.
